Damaged people are born and grow
Old and young
They thrive and appear healthy
They marry and have children
Some buy houses
Some live in apartments
Some are even homeless
They are educated and illiterate
They travel and see the world
They work
They laugh
They love
They cry
Some damaged people pretend not to be damaged at all because of the size of their bank account, their address or the car they drive. Others physical beauty fuel their denial. They live in a dent-free bubble.
Some believe the color of another person’s skin and background account for their damage; while many believe their heritage renders them superior.
Still others try to hide their weakness with hurtful, hate-filled words.
Many struggle to repair the damage. They actively participate in searching for the good.
Damaged people are born, they live, and they die.
